Welcome to Woodrow Wilson Elementary!
It is my privilege to welcome you and your family to Woodrow Wilson Elementary School. This is our second year as a 4th-6th grade building and we have come to appreciate the social and academic needs of these students. We will have 5 sections of each grade level this year. 6th graders will be departmentalized and will travel from teacher to teacher to get content area expertise. Many additional subjects and services supplement our core curriculum including: Special Education, Guidance, Vocal and Instrumental Music, Physical Education, Art, Library/Technology, and Talented and Gifted.
Our theme this year is: “…The Places You’ll Go!”
Both teachers and students will enjoy this theme as we embrace travel to many places in our minds through books, new math concepts and a variety of content area lessons.
Our strong commitment to ensure all students’ success will be evident in what we do at Woodrow Wilson. It will be a year of high expectations (Responsibility), new relationships (Respect), and a caring environment (Safety).
