Welcome to Berg Elementary!

Berg Elementary staff and students are “Moving and Grooving to Success” in 2011-12!
Berg Elementary serves approximately 500 Transitional Kindergarten through 3rd grade
students in the Newton Community School District. Please feel free to visit any time!

At Berg Elementary, we strive to meet the needs of our young learners. We will do
whatever it takes to ensure each child succeeds! We focus on the whole child, helping
each boy and girl grow academically and socially. We teach and expect our students to
Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Caring.

We know that the only way we can truly be successful in reaching our goals is with parent involvement and support. We hope you will partner with us to ensure all students learn to think, innovate, and succeed! Together, we can help our students accomplish great things!
