The school year is nearly done, but this reader has just begun. He reads all the time, expanding his mind. He can’t quench his desire to keep reading and learning alive. I am proud of his increased interest in reading and his fine example to others of the importance of reading and learning. Thanks for working hard to the end!

If I had to define character with one word, I could easily say Connor. Connor is a leader in class, on the playground, in specials, and outside of school as well. Connor leads by quiet example. He knows what needs to be done and never backs away from a challenge. He always meets challenges head on and always strives to do his best. He is never afraid to help and encourage others to do their best. He is an excellent example of what true character should look like.

Each day this wonderful young man comes into the classroom with a smile and a hug for the teacher. He comes early to school to help and willingly lends a helping hand to his classmates. Let’s try to summarize a few of our favorites about him…

This student came a long way to attend Aurora Heights and is a positive addition to our school. This student has a super good attitude, and I’ve noticed a generous, kind interaction with other classmates. Did I mention this student does a great job in all music activities? Collin has been an outstanding example of what it means to be a great citizen! He exemplifies all the traits of a stupendous character. He is kind, understanding, and helpful to all in the classroom. He is patient and always willing to assist other students who need help working the computer. He sets an example for the rest of the class while always making sure that he has taken care of his own business. Extraordinary work Collin! Congraulations!
